Look at the time man. today shall be short.
Er. not a bad day lah. today i went to toa payoh for the time trials thingy.swam 2 events. 50m and 100m breaststroke. 50m was alright. did an amazing 31.75(wth). dun know why. i can do 32.30/40 in trainings abt 3 times in a row.with some rest lah! but my max speed so slow. i am worried now. like i mentioned in my previous posts. for the 100m, i did 1.10.13, ya lah, laugh at me lah.. i went out my first fifty too slow. so slow that i had so much energy for the last lap. didnt realli feel tired at all. maybe 80% energy left after 100m. i glided too much for first lap. my mistake. i was actually surprised by all the breaststrokers today. for 50m , onli leonard did below 31! i was 6th.basket. but for the 100m, things were far better. leonard did 1.06. followed by joel tan and mark tan, both in the 1.07s.then its me liao. well both of them very good to me. so wad to say? joel won mark by a bit. not to say mark is lousy, i think that mark shud come to swimfast to train now rite?joel, i think he did a great job man. hes been training real hard man. 1.08 for 100m in training(which is after about MANY 100m?) , can u see the effort? well i can. i love to train with him.
anyway, was a good experience swimming with the faster and older ones. the pressure is there. i am more tempted to look at them more. dunno why. and i couldnt go the pace i wanted. affected by them.. hope that all these helps me prepare for the future meets and be able to cope with swimming with faster/older people.
