heya everyone.
nothing much lately. but cuz my bryans dads car has gone dead. our picnic-bbq-fishing trip tmr is in danger!!
but had a good free sunday today. went to beach to bodyboard. its something like surfing, maybe the newer and more popular type of surfing.
man, aint kidding but i finally know why swimmers drown in sea...
the waves dun warn u of its might!!
i was bodyboarding. real cool, with ben's full wet suit. houyes. the cold sea water was acceptable by now. i fear sharks, reef, sting rays, jellyfish. etc. you know it.
10.30am. we got in. for first time i saw 4 foot waves. hou! no hot girls!! :(
first got used to water before i head out to open sea.
got to know how to crash into wave without being pushed back and so on.
finally i got a chance to ride the waves..
intro, the bodyboard is attached to you via a link from the board to ur biceps.
after a few unsuccessful tries to catch the big waves, i finally got a few small ones, and had happy time speeding along the coast.
however, danger spelled itself when bryan told me to catch the giant wave when im not ready to. so i was on the edge of the top of the wave for a moment, and the next, i fell like 4 foot down to the bottom of the wave and got rolled over. .. zz.. i kinda "cracked" all my upper back bone and the pain lingers. thats seriously bad. during the rollover, the wave exerted great pressure on me. tossing me like french fries!! i cant surface. and the link (leash) btwn me and board was tangled btwn my neck, legs and armpit. i was freaking tied up.. cant breathe.swallowed 2 mouths.. fresh perth saltwater ...
then the leash broke..
great. i got rolled over like 2 more times in the later parts. it hurts. cuz u are being tossed like a grain of sand in the sea. so, swimmers, pls do not think u can survive rough water conditions in sea. ull die!.
luckily i nv hit the reef when being tossed underwater. or i may not return in a piece!..
